Students taking part in the UNIV 2012 Forum (www.univforum.org), visiting Rome from March 31 until April 8, will be hosted by the Holy Cross April 3 for their annual University Conference. They will be discussing "The Power of Beauty."

On Tuesday, March 20th at 16:15, the "Walking with Christ: Works on Sacred Subjects" art exhibit was inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Msgr Javier Echevarría, Prelate of Opus Dei. The exhibit is the work of the artist Romano Cosci, and is under the care of Giuseppe Cordoni.

It will be open until March 30 from 9:00 until 19:00.

Francisco García Pérez, having reached retirement age and assumed new commitments, will be leaving the General Management of CARF (www.carfundacion.es), a Spanish foundation that has contributed, and continues to contribute greatly to financing the University through scholarships for seminarians and priests who are students at the Holy Cross.

On March 21, for the twentieth anniversary of Acta Philosophica, the School of Philosophy's international magazine, took place a round table discussion on "Christian Freedom and the Development of Capitalism."

The School of Theology's XV Conference took place on March 12 and 13, reflecting upon the theme "Word and Testimony in the Communication of the Faith: Re-reading a Critical Pair in the Light of the Second Vatican Council."

From March 9th to 19th, students from Columbia University’s School of Journalism in New York City will hit the streets of Rome to learn about covering religion news in the Eternal City.

On Monday, March 5 took place a presentation of the latest publications of the "Gratianus Series." Cardinals Raymond L. Burke, Julián Herranz, Antonio Cañizares and Velasio De Paolis offered brief remarks.

From February 27 to 28, 2012, took place the Annual Conference of the School of Philosophy on "Consciousness and Personal Identity. Philosophical Perspectives and Neuroscience".

By initiative of the Center for Priestly Formation, a Seminar entitled Ars Praedicandi: Classic Rhetoric and Modern Communication in the Service of Preaching will be held from February to April.
