The Holy Cross thanks Mr. Francisco García Pérez as he leaves CARF's management

Francisco García Pérez, having reached retirement age and assumed new commitments, will be leaving the General Management of CARF (www.carfundacion.es), a Spanish foundation that has contributed, and continues to contribute greatly to financing the University through scholarships for seminarians and priests who are students at the Holy Cross.

Dr. García Pérez worked for twelve years in CARF's management with great skill, dedication, and enthusiasm. Among his strengths was the knowledge of how to manage the Foundation's fund-raising with innovative criteria.

The following words of thanksgiving, offered to Dr. García Pérez by the University Rector, are repeated here on behalf of the whole University community: "There are many reasons to be thankful. Some are obvious; others have born great fruit, even if they have gone unobserved--such as the thousands of priests formed in our classrooms who have now brought the faith to their own nations. For all of this, I would like to thank you for CARF's invaluable help, and specifically, for your work during these years: if the alumni say that they pray for benefactors, they will surely pray all the more for those who have directed the Foundation."
