"The Church Up Close" comes to Philadelphia in preparation for Pope Francis’ visit
Within context of the annual conference Religion Newswriter Association's, which took place August 28, 2015, in Philadelphia (USA), the Faculty of Communications has organized an intensive session of the Seminar The Church Up Close dedicated to Pope Francis’ next papal visit in The United States. Over 200 journalists have taken part in this program
Speakers include: the President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Joseph E. Kurtz, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, Bernardito C. Auza, Archbishop of Philadelphia, Charles J. Chaput and the Secretary of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America, Guzmán Carriquiry.
