"Questions concerning the beginning of life," Bioethics formation course from September 22 to 25
From September 22 to 25, 2015, on the initiative of the Moral Theology department, a Bioethics formation course on Questions concerning the beginning of life take place.
The course seeks to “offer a panoramic view of the principle moral questions that regard the beginning of life from a Christian perspective, as well as the principle contributions that, over the last years, have been published in the field of Moral Theology and Bioethics,” explained the organizers.
Professors will come from different Pontifical Universities, from the Pediatric Hospital “Bambino Gesù”, and from the Medical Faculty of Sacred Heart Catholic University.
Besides presentations given by the scheduled speakers, there will be studies of clinical cases, aiming to offer a comprehensive vision of Bioethics, making reference to the current bibliography.
A lot of time will be dedicated to open dialogue with speakers, favoring an exchange of experiences between participants.
Those enrolled include medics coming from various parts of the world, teachers, priests and experts in a variety of different topics.
