90 Students from 27 countries participate in Classical language courses this summer

Ninety students from twenty-seven countries are participating in the 6th edition of summer courses for Classical Languages (Latin, Greek and Hebrew), promoted by Department of Languages in collaboration with the Polis Institute of Jerusalem.

Among the countries of origin are Japan, Korea, China, United States, Brazil, Finland and South Africa. Students from other Roman Pontifical Universities and young alumni from schools of the Eternal City (six students between the ages of 14-16 participate in courses) are new this year.

Registration this summer also included an increase in doctoral and master students coming from American and European Universities, such as 5 post-graduate students from the University of Oxford, accompanied during the second week by Prof.ssa Juliane Kerkhecker, teacher of Classical languages at the same University.
