Seminar of religious information for Spanish-speaking journalists
From 30 January to 2 February, on the initiative of the School of Comunications and in collaboration with the Association ISCOM, a Seminar of religious information for Spanish-speaking journalists took place concerning the theme Informar sobre la Iglesia en el pontificado del Papa Francisco.
The objecive was to offer some keys to understanding the organization and operation of the Holy Seat, as well as understanding certain current questions that are encounterd concerning the agenda of religious information.
Among the keys that was addressed; what the Church says about itself and its mission in the contemporary world; the priorites of Pope Francis; the current situation of some of the issues debated.
It is the first time that this mode of updating and professional training is addressed to Spanish-speaking journalists, after which similiar initiatives will follow in French, English, Italian and Porteghese.
