Vespers with the Pope for University Students
On Saturday, December 1, in St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, students from pontifical universities in Rome met the Holy Father Benedict XVI for the First Vespers of Advent.
The meeting was opened by the Vicar Cardinal Agostino Vallini, who guided the preparatory prayer along with the reception of the the icon of Mary Sedes Sapientiae and the participants' renewal of faith at the tomb of St. Peter.
