Day Seminar on Stewardship and Patrimonial Canon Law

On Wednesday, October 24 (at 9:15 AM in the Academic Senate Hall), a Day Seminar took place on the topic of Stewardship and Patrimonial Canon Law: "Accountability to the Faithful (can. 1287-2). Keys for Stewardshuip." It was organized by the CASE group (Corresponsabilità, Amministrazione, e Sostegno Economico alla Chiesa) of the University of Navarre and of the Holy Cross.

The notion of "stewardship" developed by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (with its related letter to Catholics in 1992), and the awareness of the need to frame the responsibility of all faithful in what John Paul II has called a "spirituality of communion," are just a few of the ideas guiding the initiative we are presenting. For these reasons, the seminar will take an interdisciplinary approach, open to both theology and liturgy, spirituality and philosophy, economics and communications.
