With joy and gratitude to God, the Holy Cross University community welcomes the news that the four priests arrested last week in the Diocese of Siayuan, Inner Mongolia (China) have been freed. Among them was a former student of the School of Canon Law, Joseph WangHu.

While calling upon the goodness of the authorities for the freedom of the other two priests still being detained, we also ask that God may give his blessing of peace and progress for the noble Chinese people.
