Anian Christoph Wimmer

Anian Christoph Wimmer is German-Australian broadcaster, writer and journalist. Currently he is the editor-in-chief of the weekly Munich newspaper Münchner Kirchenzeitung and Head of Print Media at the Sankt Michaelsbund. Before that, he was an Executive Producer, Program Manager and Strategy and Planning Manager for the multilingual Australian public broadcaster SBS, an Honorary Research Fellow in communications at the University of Melbourne, where he also graduated in Philosophy and Chinese Studies. He is also a former tutor in newsroom journalism at Monash University, where he did his postgraduate work. Raised in Bavaria and South Africa, he is a bilingual author who’s published for a variety of international media, including German and Australian newspapers, television and radio current affairs shows as well as diverse websites.
