Sergio Tapia-Velasco
Sergio Tapia Velasco was ordained priest in 1998.
He graduated in Law from the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico) and has a degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome), where he also earned a doctorate in philosophy with a thesis on the philosophy of Conversation.
From 1996 to 1998 he was Officer in the Information Office of Opus Dei in Rome. He worked for nine years as Vice Rector of the International Seminar "Sedes Sapientiae", in Rome.
Since 2003 he works as Professor of the School of Church Communications of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, where he teaches "Public Speaking" and "Media Training", a seminar on the "Ars Praedicandi" and another on "pastoral approach to the New Religious Movements."
