“Summer School” on Moral Theology and Ethics in September
From September 21 to 27, 2015, on the initiative of the Research Center Markets, Culture and Ethics, Summer School will be held offering courses on Moral Theology and Ethics, designed particularly for students studying social sciences.
The scope of this initiative is to provide the basis of ethics and Christian morals for those who will work in an economic, political or social environment, in both the academic and professional setting.
It will be “a concrete occasion where faith and reason can dialogue and mutually serve one another” – affirmed the organizers – “in order to truly be incisive in culture and contemporary society.”
Lectures will be in English and, in the span of a week, will be a total of 20 hours class time. Visits are also planned to Roman sights strictly linked to the material. In addition, the curriculum foresees film forums, the opportunity to meet distinguished guests and visit important Roman monuments.
Lectures will be given by Rev. Prof. Robert Gaul, professor of Applied Ethics, and Rev. Prof. Martin Schlag, teacher of Moral Theology.
