Film Showing and Thanksgiving Mass for the Beatification of Mons. Oscar Romero
Friday May 29 2015, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador to the Holy See, an event took place in thanksgiving for the recent beatification of Mons. Oscar Romero, martyred in odium fidei.
At 3:00 p.m., in Aula Álvaro del Portillo, the film Oscar Romero: Una Voz Universal was shown. Following, at 5:00 p.m., in the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare, the Card. Marc Ouellet, Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, presided over the Holy Mass of Thanksgiving.
